People new to Deadman may have problem like this:I cant progress anywhere in deadman mode. I try to make Runescape gold but I get killed, I try to train to get my hp up, I get killed. I cant even train on rats or men in lumbridge. I really don't know where to go. I'm stuck being broke and cant get any levels.Maybe, the Runescape power leveling is the only way for them,that’s too sad.

Making money has to come later when the essential skills are at a decent level except for hp, that has to be high. For me its HP > combat skills(don't die as easily) > Thriving (quick cash) > construction (make your self tele tabs and have portals) > Agility (survival is increased due to using less run energy and using shortcut might save your life). Other people will be different so keep that in mind.

I recommend saving HP (until 75 life insurance, then change it to magic or range), Def(until you can go PK then change it to either range or magic), thriving, agility, construction(make the necessary things. portal chamber, gilded altar, magic tablet. If you need the money just go pickpocket ardougne knights, but only when you're out of resources, so when you die theirs nothing to lose. You can, if you want. Replace agility with woodcutting until you have what you need in your house, then change back to agility.)

Focus on training one skill at a time. Don't have to go for 99 but it has to be high 75+.When running around getting your skills up never wear or have expensive armor. Only wear the best armor you can buy of the npc store.

Yes. I know, that it is going to be pretty boring training you skills up before you can do anything and a pain when you die, but with the 5 x it should be less painful.
