How To Making OSRS GP
Dec-23-2021 PSTOld School RuneScape is a game where the experience is totally different depending on how much RuneScape gold (also known as GP) that you have in the bank. Without enough gold, you won’t be able to access the best skilling methods or combat gear to participate in fun activities like Raids with your friends.
Therefore, it’s important to have access to efficient money making methods to allow you to have a comfortable amount of OSRS GP within your bank. We’ll explore one of the more popular money making methods within Old School RuneScape, known as Bossing.
Bossing
Bossing is often the central element and the reason that many players play Old School RuneScape in the first place. Continuously improving your PvE (player versus environment) skills can be heaps of fun. And it’s not like the bosses within this game are easy - after all, some players do not beat the Inferno until their hundredth attempt due to its sheer complexity!
Bossing as a money-making method can reward millions of gold per hour once you’re able to access and defeat late-game bosses, such as Zulrah and Vorkath. However, even with something like base 50-60 combat stats, depending on your skill, you can make millions of gold per hour at bosses like Barrows. This is because the armor and equipment that’s received as loot, such as Verac’s, is quite expensive.
Killing bosses can be the best overall money making method, but don’t be fooled. There are some bosses, particularly at the lower levels, that may not reward much OSRS GP per hour. Whilst they may help complete your collection log, it may be better to target more profitable bosses or try a different money making method such as skilling. The same general advice is fully applicable to Slayer. At lower levels of Slayer, the drops aren’t really spectacular, and you may end up spending more on prayer potions at lower levels (if your Prayer isn’t trained much) than the loot you make. Although the impact of that is mitigated as you level up Slayer and you are also granted the ability to ban certain Slayer tasks down the line.
