Starting at Vileshark HQ is not a recommended option
May-24-2023 PSTStarting at Vileshark HQ is not a recommended option when you first begin the server, as the entrance enemies pose a challenge due to their ranged magic damage. To overcome this, you would need a significant amount of good evasion RNG (random number generation).
In my experience, the key lies in Malice Palace. At that level, there are three Eden Eternal items that grant speed: Speed Meteorite, a ring, and a cape. Together, they provide a 15% speed boost. With some luck, you can also acquire an additional 10% speed from PoD (Path of Devastation) early on, as you can complete around three PoDs between levels 1 and 30. This would bring your total speed to 25%.
By having 25% speed and allocating most of your points to physical resistance, along with using a few HP tonics, you can kite the entire Malice Palace, including the first boss, and quickly level up from 31 to 45 in just a few minutes. However, this approach requires completing certain quests to stack speed. An alternate method involves kiting only the entrance mushrooms, but I still recommend stacking speed as it proves helpful in Veninfang and other areas until you acquire equipment that provides HP recovery.
For power-leveling with multiple accounts, complete the task and get more Eden Eternal gold & items, there is a bug that directs all the experience to the low-level player, even if they don't move or taunt anything.
If you stack movement speed and use potions when taking hits, you can usually pass through the early mobs relatively easily. Additionally, if you have acquired a shield, you can equip it and switch to it using the hot bars to gain some block chance.
Running through Malice Palace with a friend also works well, which is what I did when the server first opened.
Regarding multi-account power-leveling, the experience redirection to the low-level player occurs because they are not within the same level range. Whoever hits the monster first receives the experience, even without taunting. However, if I recall correctly, this method does not provide class experience, so it is still worth it to taunt. (I'm not entirely certain about this point, but if my memory serves me right, taunting yields more experience, even though essentially you are doing the same thing).
